On 9 May 2018 the Day of Victory in WWII was celebrated in London with a traditional wreath laying ceremony at the Soviet War Memorial near the Imperial War Museum.

The participants included veterans from Britain, Europe and the post-Soviet countries, heads of diplomatic missions of CIS countries, representatives of UK authorities. Charge d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Tajikistan to the UK laid a wreath at the monument on behalf of Tajikistan.
