According to the new system to apply for a Tajik visa and to extend the existing one, foreign nationals and stateless persons are required to submit an application form and the supporting documents online via Tajikistan Visa Electronic Application Centre. Depending on the results of pre-assessment, an applicant will be invited by e-mail to visit an Embassy or a Consular office for further processing procedures.

It should be specified that a Tajik visa issued in the country's airports upon arrival will also be processed via Tajikistan Visa Electronic Application Centre.

To avoid any misunderstanding, it should be mentioned that the new electronic system is not associated with a Tajik e-Visa System which has been launched earlier this year.
