In order to enrich the Republic of Tajikistan’s cultural heritage representation in the UK, the Embassy in London presented a collection of ethnographic Tajik artefacts to The British Museum in July. Attended by Director of The British Museum Mr Neil MacGregor, members of the museum’s Middle East Department and representatives from the Embassy, the ceremony handed artefacts that I had collected, along with Tajikistan’s Trade Representative in the UK, Mr Sakhibov Shamsullo.
